Global LT Management

 

Hortensia Albertini, Owner, President and Chairman of the Board, founded Global LT, formerly Langua Tutor, in 1979. She is a native of Cuba, and has extensive language teaching experience. Hortensia created her unique approach of providing various language and cultural services via a centralized model vs. a brick and mortar infrastructure.Today Global LT services clientele in over 900 locations worldwide.  

 

Lisette Poletes, Chief Executive Officer and Secretary of the Board, joined Global LT in 2009. Lisette has extensive experience in sales and marketing, and has positioned Global LT to grow within new markets, such as Europe and Asia. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising from Michigan State University and is fluent in Spanish and English. 

 

 

Ken Patterson, Chief Operating Officer and Board Treasurer, has compiled over 20 years of experience in the Finance discipline working for a variety of companies in the Midwest. His career has spanned positions with global auto companies and Tier 1 and 2 suppliers, as well as with family-owned enterprises. Ken has a Master of Science degree in Management and a Bachelor degree in Accounting from Walsh College. Prior to joining Global LT in 2007, Ken was the controller for an engineering services firm. Ken was formerly Global LT's Director of Accounting & Finance. 

 

Tom Hanson, Senior Vice President - Sales, has worked in Seville, Spain studying Spanish prior to his employment with Global LT. He has a Bachelor degree from Central Michigan and has worked in the translation, interpretation and language industry for 18 years. Tom is responsible for the recruitment, hiring, and development of the Global LT sales force; and he oversees a multicultural sales team with representatives residing throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia.
