Our Founder
Hortensia Albertini, Owner, President and Chairman of the Board, founded Global LT, formerly Langua Tutor in 1979. She is a native of Cuba, and has extensive language teaching experience. Hortensia created her unique approach of providing various language and cultural services via a centralized model vs. a brick and mortar infrastructure. Today Global LT services clientele in over 900 locations worldwide. Hortensia and Global LT have recently received the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Five on the Rise Award for Global Expansion, and Global LT was recognized as a top U.S. American-Hispanic owned business in 2009. Hortensia is fluent in Spanish and English.
