Did you know that in 2009, Global LT conducted:
- In the US, in 2009 we added two states (as well as 97 new cities) to our list of locations – Delaware and New Hampshire. With these additions, we’re in 42 states plus the District of Columbia. Since we began keeping records, we’ve delivered training in approximately 700 locations in the United States.
- Globally, in 2009, we added several countries (as well as 116 new global cities) to our list of global locations. In Africa, we trained in Ghana, Kenya, Morocco and Tunisia. In Europe, we added Finland, Northern Ireland, Lithuania and Serbia to the list. The Dominican Republic was our add for North America. In South America, we added Venezuela. Globally, we’ve delivered training in approximately 700 locations since we began keeping records.
- Considering where we’ve delivered language training in the US as well as all the cities throughout the world, we can say we’ve delivered language training in approximately 1400 locations worldwide through 2009.
- In 2009, Global LT delivered 46,600 hours of language lessons to students located worldwide. The top 6 languages (as measured by the number of instruction hours) for 2009 are:
- English – 25,626 hours
- French – 7,296.5 hours
- Spanish – 3,034.5 hours
- Japanese – 2,985 hours
- Mandarin – 2,493 hours
- German – 1,645 hours
Did you know that in 2008, Global LT conducted:
- 1,527 English classes
- 582 Mandarin classes
- 454 French classes
- 314 Japanese classes
- 224 Spanish classes
- 174 German classes
- 172 Cantonese classes
