Global LT’s Environmental Policy

• As a family-owned business, with two generations now represented, Global LT is dedicated to preserving the environment and achieving a “greener” footprint as our legacy for future generations.  We believe this is not only good policy but good business practice. Outlined below are corporate policy objectives which comprise our environmental policy. 

  Global LT is committed to:

  • Giving our employees a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Ensuring employees are properly trained on all company equipment (including vehicles), and emergency procedures; and have access to all appropriate safety and emergency equipment.
  • Saving natural resources by reusing and recycling materials, purchasing recycled materials, and using recyclable packaging, paper, and other materials.
  • Using energy responsibly throughout our business, including conserving energy, increasing energy efficiency, and giving preference to renewable over non-renewable energy sources when feasible.

  • Critiquing our compliance with this policy on a regular basis, measuring progress, and reporting periodically to our Board of Directors.

   

  Our employees, independent contractors and suppliers who work on our premises are expected to follow this policy.

  While we continually strive to improve our performance against these objectives, our goal remains to provide a safe and healthful work place for employees, protect the environment, and conserve energy and natural resources in the conduct of our business for future generations.
