About Global LT

Global LT was founded in 1979. For 30 years, our mission has been to provide best-in-class language services to global companies, enabling their employees to live and work successfully anywhere in the world. Our services include language training, cultural training, translation solutions and expatriate relocation services.

We are headquartered in Troy, Michigan, with representatives in Los Angeles, San Jose, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Boston, London, Frankfurt, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Worldwide, Global LT employs over 60 people, focused on meeting the needs of our customers.  We also rely upon a strong, dedicated network of service providers located globally to help us with this endeavor.  Together, we successfully fulfill our clients’ requests.

Global LT is owned by Hortensia Neely, who is our founder and President. Hortensia adds a multicultural facet to the business, with a Cuban heritage. She started the forerunner to Global LT as a home-based language training company, with Ford Motor Company as her first client. Now 30 years and several expansions later, Global LT is global, serving companies around the world. We are a certified minority-owned business.

Global LT has over 15 nationalities and 21 different languages represented among its workforce, and we savor and celebrate our cultural uniqueness.
