Global LT’s unique e-Langua language training courses combine the convenience of web-based learning with the benefits of instructor-led classroom training. Global LT’s e-Langua uses a range of training methods and media to enhance and maximize learning opportunities.

Course Description
Global LT offers a 50-hour language program for students in the novice-low, novice-mid proficiency level.  This introductory course is now available in the following languages:  English, French, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, German, and Japanese.

A key role of e-Langua is as pre-departure training to help reduce placement time, although the training can be used post departure as well.  Instructors deliver the training, using state of the art technology to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained.

Global LT Instructor Qualifications
Global LT has selected our best language providers as our e-Langua instructors.  Our instructors are native-speaking with certifiable teaching experience.  Those credentials have been enhanced with training on the WebEx delivery platform, producing instructors who understand the differences between classroom and online delivery methods.  Our hands-on approach to teacher training helps foster empathy for the students’ needs and challenges.

Student Requirements
Global LT believes students need specific support/equipment to experience the most effective learning.    Companies should supply their students with a webcam, a microphone (to enable VOIP) or a landline for teleconference capabilities, as well as a high-speed internet connection.  A pen mouse is also needed for students of Asian languages.

Course Material
Traditional text books and Global LT’s own online training tool augment the e-Langua courses.

Getting Started
Global LT will email a manual along with a website designed specifically for students of training delivered via WebEx.  The website will provide information regarding the installation of WebEx, troubleshooting tips, and a training video instructing students on the use of various tools found within the WebEx classroom.
