Global LT, a leading provider of language and cultural training, translation services and expatriate destination services, is announcing the hiring of two new sales consultants.    The company is headquartered in Troy, Michigan, with representatives across the U.S. and in London, Frankfurt, Hong Kong and Shanghai.  Global LT has serviced global corporations since 1979.

Joining the Global LT sales team are Ms. Suzie Provan and Ms. Lilia Walker.  Ms. Provan will represent Global LT in London and throughout the U.K.  She possesses a master’s degree in Intercultural Communication from Luton University and a bachelor’s degree in Communication, with a minor in French, from the University of Hawaii.  Suzie has extensive experience in account management and as a training consultant.  Prior to her employment with Global LT, Ms. Provan worked for Cartus Global Performance Solutions in a variety of client relations and training positions.  Early in her career, she was employed by the BBC and provided statistical analysis at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships; she herself holds multiple national tennis titles.

Ms. Lilia Walker will be responsible for business in Tennessee and Georgia.  Ms. Walker attended college in Mexico City, receiving a degree in Industrial Engineering.  She has worked for ART Robotics, in a sales and project management capacity.  She also served as a translator for the company.  Lilia moved to the U.S. in 1996 and most recently was a self-employed technical interpreter and translator, cultural trainer and Spanish language instructor.  She is located in Knoxville, Tennessee.
