Global LT, a leading provider of language and cultural training, translations and expatriate destination services, lent its support to Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, October 10th, with Global LT's employees supporting the charity's efforts in both Novi and Pontiac.

Suzanne Smulsky, Global LT's Vice President of Marketing & Communications, stated that the company has a long, established tradition of giving back to the community.  "Supporting worthy causes is a core company value.  What's important about our support of Habitat for Humanity is that we gave of our time.  Our employees and language teachers give up a Saturday to help out and make a difference."

In Novi, as part of an event that occurred at the Rock Financial Centre, the 10-member Global LT team built over 20 walls for a 4-bedroom ranch house for a deserving Detroit family.  The Pontiac group assisted with construction tasks, such as caulking, painting, and hanging trim and siding, on a newly constructed 3-bedroom house. The Habitat leader onsite in Pontiac informed the Global LT team that a family for the house had just been confirmed the night before.

Habitat for Humanity is in line to receive additional support from Global LT.  As part of its 30th anniversary celebration, Global LT has produced a cookbook - A Culinary Journey with Global LT - which will go on sale in November.  A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will be donated to the charity.
