Global LT Announces Sales Force Expansion

Date: 02/04/2008

Global LT, a leading provider of language services headquartered in Troy, Michigan, with offices throughout the U.S. and internationally, has announced the addition of three new employees to its sales team.

According to Suzanne Smulsky, Global LT Marketing & Communications’ Director, the additional sales people are required to keep pace with the growing demand for Global LT’s core products of language training, cultural training and translation services, “Our business is on a glide path to continue its year-over-year increase. Much of this growth is coming from out-of-state and international clients. We want to ensure we have team members in place who can service the needs of our growing client list and maintain our high levels of customer satisfaction.”

Joining the Global LT sales team are Renate Overstreet, Stephanie Ball and Brett Edwards. Ms. Overstreet, who has an extensive background in the language services field, most notably with a prominent global language training company, is fluent in German and French and will be responsible for clients in the northeast U.S. Ms. Ball, a former art auctioneer associate with a leading art gallery in metro Detroit, has a French language certificate from L’Institute de Touraine, France. Mr. Edwards comes to Global LT from Japan’s leading English language center, where his responsibilities included the management of an international staff, customer relations and business development. Ms. Ball and Mr. Edwards will manage accounts in the midwest and south.

“These three individuals have just the skills and background we’re looking for as we grow our sales force,” stated Ms. Smulsky. “Each brings language facility, well-honed sales skills and business or training acumen. We welcome them to our team.”
