Relocation Assistance is an essential resource for any organization that transfers employees globally. Our customized relocation packages guide the inpatriates and their families through a series of activities that ensure a smooth and pleasant transition to American living.

Pre-Arrival
Prior to arrival, Global LT will personally contact the inpatriate and send a “Personal Survey,” which will assess the needs and priorities of the inpatriate and his/her family. The completed information will help Global LT design a customized relocation package.

Look-See Trip
We advise companies to arrange this trip about a month in advance of the actual start of the assignment. This one-week trip allows the families to gain an insight into their future place of residence. During this trip they try to do as much as possible to better prepare for their arrival.

Arrival
After review of the Personal Survey and upon arrival of the inpatriate, a Global LT relocation specialists will lead the family, in the inpatriate’s language, through a customized process that can include the following services:

Welcome Orientation
  Reception at Airport (upon request)
  Accompaniment to hotel/apartment and verification of
-- acceptable accommodations.
  Welcome Meeting:
  Review of Personal Survey and Look-See Itinerary
  Introduction and overview of country, region and city where move is
-- occurring:  Transportation, Education, Health Care System, Shopping,
-- Emergency Information, Holidays, Recreation, Entertainment, etc.
  Delivery of Orientation Packet: Relocation Guide, Maps, Brochures
  Discussion of client company’s global policies

Follow-Up Services
After the family has settled into their new home, the relocation specialist will follow up with the family to address any needs at that time. In order to continuously improve, we ask that each family return a confidential evaluation communicating their relocation experience with our company. Our goal is to provide quality service and have our clients make the transition to their new environment as quickly and comfortably as possible.

  Visit to birthing centers/hospitals
  Procuring home or auto insurance (if not provided by company)

Additional services, activities and tasks are provided and completed upon arrival.
